Home Bound and Snap Out of It are two short films about “small potatoes” in daily life. Most people are the cogs in society, facing dissatisfaction, discrimination, and prejudice, but still try to live with hope.

 

Quentin Gong is an international student from China. As a visual artist, he has been a filmmaker for 12 years, and is also adept at photography, painting, music, and graphic design. His early works mainly focused on commerce, but during his study in the United States, he has gradually added more artistic elements to his works, trying to find a balance between art and business in filmmaking. He is currently a second-year MFA candidate at Lesley University’s College of Art and Design in the Photography and Integrated Media program.
